Where do I start?

This is really silly, but I am going to start with my mom going to talk to a psychic. My mom went and talked to a psychic one summer day to see what her and her family’s future held. When she was there she asked about her kid’s futures and the psychic told my mom that her youngest daughter, me, will find her ‘soul mate’ that year. My mom came home and told me that I was going to find my ‘soul mate’ ‘that year’. After she told me this everywhere I went and every guy I laid eyes on I wondered if he was my ‘soul mate’, but nah, they weren’t. I was determined to find my ‘soul mate’. (I know you all are probably laughing, because I did too at first).

So one summer night ‘that year’ I went to a party with one of my friends. As I walked down the steps and into the basement of the party my eyes focused on one thing and one thing only. And that ‘one thing’ was a ‘tall, dark, and handsome’ guy playing beer pong with some friends. NOTE: In the back of my mind I was thinking “Could this be my soul mate that the crazy, psychic lady was talking about?” Little did I know, SHE WASN’T CRAZY! So… back to the party scene. Since I didn’t know ANYONE at the party I didn’t know how I was going to approach him. Was I going to talk to him first? NO WAY. Was I going to make eye contact first? NO WAY. I played the infamous ‘hard to get’ and I waited to see if he would approach me! : ) After about an hour of “standing in the corner” he started noticing me and once he noticed me he never stopped talking! (At the time I thought he was a little creepy… LOL). My friend and I left the party, but before we left I told my friend I thought he was cute and wanted his number. Was I going to get it? NO WAY. She was the courageous, outgoing one- so I made her get it. As soon as we left the party he called me and asked if I wanted to hang out! I wasn’t going to act desperate or anything, but I sure as heck wasn’t going to pass the moment up! : ) He came to my friend’s house and picked me up. We went to the gas station and got ‘beverages’ and one thing I can remember the most was asking, “Are you 21, are you going to be able to get us alcohol?” and he said “I’m 26.” WOW. He didn’t look it! And if you know my husband now he will be 30 next year and still looks 16! : ) Anyways… back to the story. We went backroading or as he calls it ‘gravel-road riding’ for FOUR HOURS! During these four hours I found myself falling IN LOVE with this guy, and I hardly knew him! But I DID KNOW that I was going to SPEND THE REST OF MY LIFE WITH HIM! : ) and since those FOUR HOURS of backroading we have been inseparable ever since! ; ) And to this day I believe I FOUND my SOULMATE and my SOULMATES name is Kurt! : )

With that being said, I will start with Kurt. Kurt is the sweetest, most caring, yet biggest asshole I know. But I love him! : ) He is the best father, husband, son, son-in-law, brother, friend, cousin, nephew… etc. that anyone could ever ask for! There’s something about Kurt that makes me fall in love with him all over again when I look at him ; ) I don’t know what it is, but that boys got talent! Kurt likes to do ANYTHING outdoors (which is the complete opposite of me- so I guess opposites do attract). He is an avid hunter and fisherman. He hunts just about anything that you can hunt except opossums & raccoons because that’s really sad. : ( (he’s going to make fun of me later for saying that LOL). Kurt and I like to spend our time with our girls, with our friends, watching ‘our TV shows’ together, and just about anything that we can do TOGETHER. That’s all I can think of about Kurt at the moment! HES PRETTY WONDERFUL! : )

Next, would be me! I don’t really know what to say about myself because I’m not one to boast! I enjoy being with LIL’ family (Kurt, Bay, and Addi) and also hanging out with my BIG family (my parents and grandparents). I also like hanging out with my friends, but mostly FRIEND. (That’s a different subject- when you get married and have kids and GROW UP in general, you find out who your real friends are. I went to school in Rolla for Respiratory Therapy and graduated August ’10 with an Associates in Respiratory Care and I now work at Hermann Area District Hospital. I LOVE having a BIG GIRL JOB! Going to school, being a wife, and raising kids are for the birds! : ) But I did it and succeeded and that’s one thing I AM PROUD OF! : ) That’s all I can think of for right now! I LOVE MY LIFE AND MY FAMILY! : )

‘Our little FIRE BALL’- Baylee! WOW, I don’t even know where to start with this kid. She has a personality BIGGER than the GRAND CANYON. She never seems to amaze us. She is smarter than I ever thought a 2 ½ year old could be. She’s even wiser than me and her dad put together, I think. : ) She can talk us into ALMOST anything- actually when it comes to her the ‘almost’ goes OUT THE WINDOW- who am I fooling? She can talk us into anything. She LOVES LOVES LOVES playing Barbies and Babies. The kid has every baby doll ever made, I think, and even real diapers, bottles, blankets… anything you can think of- she has it. Maybe that’s where we went wrong- she’s a TAD spoiled! Baylee enjoys riding on maw maw Faye’s golf cart, playing with her Babies and Barbies, aggravating the hell out of the dogs (LOL), being a ‘mommy’ to her little sister, watching Dora, SpongeBob, and barney, and doing anything outside. I never knew my purpose in life until I met Baylee! : )

‘Little Miss Attitude’- Addison! Addi is almost 3 months old and I can already tell you how she is going to act in 10 years. She has 1,000 different facial expressions and one is just as cute as the other! She’s definitely our ‘little chunky monkey’- weighing in at 14 lbs! WOW. One thing I have learned about Addison is NEVER RUN OUT OF FOOD- the kid LOVES to eat- and don’t you even think about taking her bottle away from her if she’s not done! I only hope that she and Baylee will be best of friends, but I can already see that my wish probably won’t come true. Baylee would just love to love on Addi ALL DAY LONG, but Addi gets annoyed with Baylee pretty quickly. One thing Addison does it when Baylee goes to hug and kiss on her Addison will latch on to Baylee’s face like she is biting her and grab a hand full of hair and pull!! I’m scared to see what they are going to do when Baylee is 4 and Addi is 2!! EEEEKK… :S Kurt’s hoping Addi is his ‘little hunter’ because Baylee will NOT step foot in the dirt or mud and will NOT get mud or dirt on her ‘princess tiara or princess shoes’, so Addi is his only hope unless you can GUARENTEE me that my next kid will be a BOY! Until then I refuse to have THREE GIRLS! Eeekkk… :S I will say that Addi has become a great addition to our family and I don’t know what I would do without her little coo’s and smiles- and frowns LOL! : )

Miley-Roxy-‘The Girls’- and Marty bring our family together! Without the excitement of our pets I don’t know what we would do. Miley is our pug that NEVER has her tongue in her mouth and is ALWAYS licking you- which DRIVES ME BANANAS! But with those big eyes and smooshed face she will always make you smile. Miley is Baylee’s favorite ‘play toy’. Baylee will carry Miley around by her leg, by her neck, wherever she can grab and Miley just looks up at her and smiles! Roxy is our shar-pei who is our PROTECTOR. You will always feel safe when Roxy is around. She wouldn’t let a fly get to you before you approved of it. The girls are our beagles who at the time we couldn’t come up with anything witty so “The Girls” just stuck with them. Which is fine because they are sisters and are connected at each others hips! And last but not least- Marty. Marty is 1 of 10 goldfish and the only one that survived within a 24 hour period! So we think very highly of Marty! : ) I would also like to mention my late Boston Terrier, Macie, who passed away June 6th, 2010. I had Macie before I had my ‘own family’. Macie was my rock and as silly as it sounds Macie was my best friend. I could always count on her to make me happy and be there for me. She listened to everything I said and smiled when I needed a smile. Macie helped me through A LOT- I cant even begin to tell you how much she helped me! When school was unbearable, or life was too hard I always had Macie to hold! If you know me at all you know how much she meant to me. To this day I look outside and pray that I would see her running down the driveway towards me. But after Macie passed she taught me a lot about life. I never knew a ‘dog’, which I use that word lightly, could teach you so much and mean so much. I truly think Macie passed because she had faith in me and knew I was stronger than what I thought I was. She knew I could make it through anything. I always told Kurt and Kurt always told me, “When Macie dies we are going to have to put you to sleep too because you are going to be an emotional wreck.” And trust me, I was an emotional wreck, but now I Thank God for giving me the time I had with Macie and I can’t wait to see her again! : )

From beginning to end that was the Sieckmann’s life- in a nutshell! : )
